Sockssockssocks
It all started when I got Stray Sock Sewing and Stray Sock Sewing Too, two how-to books by an artist named Daniel. I started in on one of his simpler designs, a little bunny made from a child's sock, and I've been completely addicted ever since.
I've already made over 15 sock animals. Some of them are from Daniel's patterns, but most of them I've come up with on my own. I already have a huge bag of socks (brand new, I assure you), but that hasn't stopped me from looking for cute, affordable socks everywhere I go. I find the best places are spots like Target (great sock sales) and Michael's (where you can also pick up other accoutrements like stuffing, beads, ribbons, and buttons with which to adorn the little cuties.
